Sting and Snow Records set-up Snow Records in 1988 in order to provide callers, who might be interested and who had the necessary qualities, with the opportunity to make recordings; there is a certain style of voice that sells recordings and there is a certain style of song that fits a certain style of voice - the important thing to do is to find a song that will "work".

The recent changes in our methods of production will have an effect on this "Special Guest Caller" strategy. However, I am pleased to be able to advise that Sting Productions would still like to continue to offer the chance to record, to any suitably talented callers that might wish to be a "Special Guest Caller". The offer that I can make is as follows:

For a financial contribution of £1000 (GB Pounds), I will offer the chance to record a vocal track on an original tune, i.e. one that you select, where I will arrange for the music to be specially recorded. This would now be done as part of the Sting Productions Ambassador Club initiative and will be made available, initially, to the Ambassador Club membership and then (after the 12 month exclusivity period has elapsed) via the regular retail outlets. Consequently, "Special Guest Callers" who pay for the "£1,000 option" will have automatic membership to the Ambassador Club, for one year; they will receive all the tunes recorded during that year, (including the one that they have selected).

It should be noted that Sting Productions Ambassador Club releases (including "Special Guest Caller" spots) will only be made available in digital formats, not in Vinyl, as Vinyl is no longer a viable option.

At present, our first priority is to establish the Sting Productions Ambassador Club. Once we have the Ambassador Club "up and running", I have quite a few plans to "develop" this "Special Guest Caller" idea and make it as supportive as possible of the main objectives. This may include alternative methods of contributing towards the cost of the production of the "Special Guest Caller" tune. As these ideas are ready for implementation, they will be announced on this page; feel free to check back from time-to-time, for updates.
