INTERVIEW

I was born on the 7th July 1958 in Stockholm. The first 25 years of my life sports, like football and icehockey, were my favourite pasttimes . When I eventually hurt myself so bad that I couldn't continue to play, I tried to find another way to keep in shape.

Just by accident I ran into Square Dancing and that became like an addiction. After one year of beginner class my leaders asked me to help them to start a new class. At this time I danced with the group that started one year earlier! So this is really the beginning of my caller career...

And I have to say - THANK YOU - Square Dance People Bagarmossen for letting me grow into it and… THANK YOU- Stefan Sidholm for your continuous support over all these years.

The New Millennium was a big turn in my life. I made the decision to leave Stockholm and moved to Öland, where I had the chance to work at the Dance Resort together with Inger & Gösta. It became everything in my life. Today Bödabadens owner is Dave Wilson and I help him to run the place.

• Through calling I have met a lot of new friends and I have seen great places:
• Dalen, Stockholm (my club and the first big dance)
• USA-trip together with Stefan Sidholm that ended in Japan
• Swedish-, Danish-, European- and Japanese-Conventions.
• Fjord Frolickers ( lovely people, special thank you to Brian & Beate Gardiner)
• Stuttgart (Uli you are a FRIEND!!!! And a great one!)
• Kiel ( Ostseehalle and my family Brigitte & Gerd. I Love You)
• Paderborn ( I feel like home. Thank you Thorsten & Susanne and the lady who helps me with all my contacts in Germany, Monika Amedick)
