BIOGRAPHY

Francois learned square dancing in Munich, Germany, graduating in 1986. He began calling in 1988.

He was calling and teaching for several clubs in the Munich area, including the Munich Dip 'n Divers, one of Germany's oldest and largest clubs. Soon he was also guest calling for an average of 10 to 15 clubs annually.

He called on numerous European Jamborees and Special Dances, as well as many National Square Dance Conventions in the United States. He recorded on the "Snow" label. He became an active member of ECTA (European Callers and Teachers Association) and CALLERLAB. Especially in CALLERLAB he has been active in several committees. He quit serving as vice chairman of the CALLERLAB Overseas Advisory Committee in 2007.

In 2007 he and his wife of fifteen years, Regina, moved from Munich to Henderson, Nevada.
