| STING AND SNOW PRODUCTIONS - AUGUST 2007 NEWS-LETTER |
August is soon upon us and - as I sit here, in July, writing this text - I can confirm that my expectations (possibly "aspirations") for a long hot summer have
been completely "washed away"…
As you may have read in the news, here in the U.K. we have experienced the worst torrential rain and consequent flooding in recorded history. Large parts of
our green and pleasant land are under water; water that has spilled into the ground floor (or as it is known in the U.S. "first floor") areas of hundreds of
thousands of homes. The most recent news is that 340,000 people will be without fresh water for at least two weeks, people are living in emergency
accommodation and those - who are still at home - are without electricity, sewage disposal and are depending upon the emergency services for food.
Looks as though there is nothing to compare with a British summer!
I sincerely hope that the people affected by this disaster will soon be able to return to some form of normality and that everyone concerned can look forward
to an improvement in their situation, aided by those who love them.
Following on from last month, I have received a large number of enquiries about the Best Seller listings. To answer most of the questions raised, I have
referred to some of the recent chart positions that our records have achieved. Here are a few facts concerning our performance in the Best Seller tables;
please note that the A & S Records listing is a "Top-Five", so those of our tunes shown as "unplaced" could all be in the "Top-Ten".
Best Seller Chart Position
