August 2010 the month in which -with all of our "eggs in one basket" - we are trying to launch our final foray into keeping alive our goal of producing quality new Square Dance music for the activity that we all love and to which we owe so much.

I am very pleased to be able to report that - as I write this letter on 20th July (my birthday), we have a total pre-registration count of 146 Callers - almost our target of 150!

However, we realise that all of these pre-registrations still need to become full memberships.

By the time you read this (it will have been posted on the web-site on 1st August), I will have contacted all of the pre-registrants (by e-mail on 28th July) and advised them of the list of tunes that we will be recording in 2011. Chances are that many of the pre-registered Callers will have become full members and - in effect - have entered into a contract with Sting Productions, wherein they promise to pay us $150 (the discounted price available to pre-registrants) in December this year, in return for which they will have the Ambassador Club CD in June 2011.

However, full membership is now open to all at $160 - so if you did not pre-register, you can still become a full member of the Sting Productions Ambassador Club.

To become a full member, just use the Ambassador Club drop-down menu that has been added to the menu bar above, select the Application Form link, complete your details and send it through to me by using the Submit button.

The list of tunes that we are planning to record can also be found on the Ambassador Club drop-down menu - they are accessed by use of the List of 2011 Tunes link.

I will be processing the pre-registered applications, only, until 11th August 2010. On 12th August 2010, I will begin to process any full membership applications received after 1st August - I will process these in the order in which they were received - so if you didn't pre-register, then apply for full membership today, in order to mark your place in the list of applicants. As you will have seen, on the Home-Page there is a counter which is counting down from 150 - it shows the number of full membership places that are still available. Once we have our 150 members, we will start a waiting list - so you can still apply. This waiting list will also be processed in the order in which the applications are received, so - if you miss the chance to become a full member - you can still stake a claim to any membership places that might become available.
