STING AND SNOW PRODUCTIONS - FEBRUARY 2007 NEWS-LETTER

Easter will soon be upon us, that time when we see large amounts of roughly "egg-shaped" chocolate based confectionary, lining the store shelves to be sold in great volume. Well to be entirely honest they have been on the shelves in our local shops since February (the day after Valentine's Day). Gosh I just wish that someone would create an annual Square Dance festival, where the custom might be to give a bundle of new records to the people that you love… Dream on, Paul…

Following my comments in the February NewsLetter, I have received a terrific response; mostly by word-of-mouth and (to my surprise) some by regular "snail-mail". You have told us what you would make you buy more music - this is really helpful and I promise that we shall pay careful attention to your comments and suggestions. Of course, it's not too late to contact me on this subject - if you have some ideas, please pass them on, we sincerely appreciate the assistance in helping us select and produce the songs that you want!

The first three months of a new year are now gone and - I am pleased to say - everything is looking good for another year of new music production. Almost all the vocals are now recorded for our next 12 months of releases and our release schedule has now been adjusted (again) to what, we hope, will be the best sequence of songs to maintain the logical (and most effective) release of our new music.

To check out the new releases - take a look at the Future Releases page, where every tune up to and including September 2007 is listed; this page is updated each month, so don't forget to check here on a regular basis.

This gives us the chance to now concentrate on the next year's production - i.e. from March 2008; there is no "rest" from this task - not that we want any "rest", we love the "Roller-Coaster-Ride" - bring it on!

Consequently, plans have been confirmed for this year's trip to Tennessee, we will be travelling to Nashville in October for our usual new-music recording session. Already, several songs have been selected - although the opportunity to change the choice still exists; staff callers sometimes find something "better" to record, nothing is "set in stone" - so I think I know what we are recording in October (but I am not sure)…

Okay, now I have to make a "secret" trip to the local confectioner and spend an indecent amount of my hard-earned cash on some of those roughly "egg-shaped" chocolate based products. The alternative would be to face the disdain of the women that I love! Have a great April - "speak" with you next month!
