June - the start of the incredible British Summer! Okay, I am prepared… I have located my swimming trunks and sunglasses - for the sunny days; it's been very warm recently. There is a chance of occasional rain, so I will keep my umbrella and waterproofs ready - just in case. Some chance of strong winds, so I must make sure that my heavy coat is at hand. Strange thing - "British" weather…

This month, I am pleased to announce that I have finally "got to grips" with a long overdue project. As you will be aware, there are caller-details available on this web-site for all of the Staff Callers, on both Sting and Snow Records. These comprise a short biography, contact details, a picture and a listing of all the records that each caller has recorded.

You can locate these caller details under the CALLERS drop-down menu on the heading bar that appears on every page of this web-site. Also here you will find the GUEST CALLERS drop-down, which lists people who have also appeared on the labels either as former staff callers or as special guest callers.

However, the listing of GUEST CALLERS is a fairly recent addition and is "missing" many of the callers that belong to this category. So - at long last - I am pleased to announce that, over the next few months, we shall be adding information about all of the people who belong to this group.

We will be adding two callers, each month, starting this month with Al Stevens, who was a very important staff caller, during the early days of Sting and Mike Wilder, who is appearing this month as a "Special Guest Caller" on Snow.

On the subject of "Special Guest Callers", if you have even the "slightest" interest in recording a Square Dance record, please check out the deal that is available to anybody who wishes to record a tune, this is all explained on the SNOW page of the web-site. One part of this deal is the chance to record a vocal on an existing, previously recorded, piece of music - we have a few "super" tunes, "in the can" that just need a caller to record the vocal. This is the cheapest option that we are able to offer BUT there are only four tunes remaining, so it would be wise to act on this as soon as possible. Once these tunes are all used, this offer will close.

So if you have an interest in seeing yourself "immortalised" on vinyl, then here's a golden opportunity to make that happen!
