Snow Records was set-up in 1988 in order to provide callers, who might be interested and who had the necessary qualities, with the opportunity to make records. There is a certain style of voice that sells records and there is a certain style of song that fits a certain style of voice and the important thing to do is to find a song that will "work". The company was "re-defined" in 2002 and now has a new regular staff of seven callers who will be releasing many new tunes in the near future. I am pleased to be able to continue to offer the chance to record, to any suitably talented callers that might wish to be a "Special Guest Caller" on Snow and become "immortalised - in - vinyl"!

There are seven callers that comprise the new staff for Snow Records. These callers have entered into a commitment to record and release, regularly and to promote the company as much as possible. This is an important part of the effort that all the Sting and Snow staff are undertaking in order to ensure that the production of new Square Dance music continues, into the new millennium. The staff callers are: Kenny Reese, Uli Schingen, Thorsten Hubmann and Astrid Heckmann (from Germany), Wil Stans and Maarten Weijers (both from Holland) and Tommy P. Larsen (from Denmark).

At present I can offer the opportunity to record a vocal track to accompany an existing piece of music (that has not been previously released), to any suitably talented caller. This would involve a contribution towards the costs of production etc. of £500.00. Alternatively, you could record an original tune, i.e. one that you select, where I will arrange for the music to be specially recorded, this can be produced for a contribution of £1000.00. You would be featured as a "Special Guest Caller" on Snow.
